#Web3Voice – Zeeve & Benqi: Unlocking Avalanche’s Potential with Subnets & Liquid Staking

Dr Ravi Chamaria, the co-founder and CEO of Zeeve, had an insightful discussion with Dan Mgbor, the co-founder of Benqi, on 8th March 2024 on X, formerly Twitter, about Avalanche’s potential with subnets and liquid staking. Here is a summary of the discussion.

Dr Ravi expressed his pleasure in invigorating Dan and then introduced himself and Zeeve, the infrastructure as a service platform that provides appchain infrastructure, rollups, and much more, along with Avalanche subnet management. He mentioned that Benqi is one of the most exciting partnerships Zeeve has made in the avalanche infrastructure.

Dan introduced Benqi and its offerings as a suite of defi protocols created to help the Avalanche ecosystem. It consists of three primary protocols. He explained these protocols and their use cases briefly, especially in liquid staking

Both exchanged insights on liquid staking. What it is and how does it differ from traditional staking?

Liquid staking is a new concept in Ethereum and has not yet been implemented in Avalanche; hence, Dr Ravi asked Dan to explain that a bit. Dr Ravi mentioned that one of Zeeve’s partners is the leading player in Liquid restaking, especially bootstrapping security in some areas, like if someone wants to launch rollups with centralised sequencers.

A special emphasis was put on Benqi Ignite as central to Benqi’s partnership with Zeeve. Zeeve provides validator infrastructure, while Benqi helps Zeeve solve the cost problem, as avalanche requires significant investment. The partnership is instrumental for Zeeve. Zeeve estimates many subnets will launch as the value proposition increases, and many enterprises are showing interest in subnets.

Dan expanded on it by explaining how Ignite works and how it helps you save a lot of money. Dr. Ravi shared insight on possibly changing the five validators and AVAX. He added that Zeeve already has the platform to configure and launch your subnets online.

Dr Ravi mentioned that Zeeve has launched a few more products to support the subnet infrastructure. Apart from the core infrastructure, there’s a management dashboard and configurations to test subnets on the fly. Zeeve is also working on an advanced block explorer, data indexing, and hosted servers. The event ended with greetings and some insights.
