The Ethereum community converged at EthCC 2024 in Brussels from July 8-11, and Zeeve was right in the middle of it to be a part of all the action. It was Europe’s largest annual Ethereum event, and representing Zeeve were our front-row leaders, Ghan Vashishtha, Co-Founder & CTO, and Michael Cable, VP of Growth and Sales, UK. 

Ghan and Michael attended a bunch of side events apart from the main event, fully immersing themselves in the wealth of insights, networking opportunities, and potential collaborations. They explored numerous partnerships further to bolster Zeeve’s Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) offerings, aligning with the event’s focus on improving Dapp experiences and enhancing Layer 2 (L2) security and transparency.

Ghan observed a significant focus on real-world applications of blockchain. Tracing your cup of coffee from bean to brew or owning a pair of tennis shoes with a digital certificate of authenticity—EthCC 2024 showed that these concepts are no longer just ideas; they’re happening now. The significant presence of rollup projects highlighted their increasing importance as the key piece of Web3 infrastructure—a trend that aligns perfectly with Zeeve’s vision. Michael also noted that the recurring theme was “more build.” The focus is now on tools and infrastructure that can drive adoption, especially in the L2 space.

While celebrating the web3 community at EthCC 2024, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, engaged the audience with insights on Ethereum’s future, from quantum resistance to community-driven innovation. The side events, including technical workshops and networking opportunities, ensured there were layers of depth to the overall experience.
