Web3Voice – Talk Series with Trikl

On 12th June 2023, Zeeve held a Talk Series with Trikl on “The Role of AI in Web3 Community Building.”

Dr.Ravi, co-founder & CEO of Zeeve, and Mahesh Tawade, Community Manager of Zeeve, host the event and welcome Raushan Sharma, Co-founder at Trikl.

Raushan introduces himself as an IIT Bombay graduate and a Trickle team member. He has been involved in web three and has experience working with community leaders and emerging technologies. Trickle provides actionable insights and AI-powered tools for managing significant group chat discussions in the Web3 space.

Dr.Ravi and Mahesh acknowledge Raushan’s startup and highlight engagement and collaboration’s importance in gaining traction for Web3 applications. Dr.Ravi asks Raushan how artificial intelligence can facilitate engagement and collaboration in building Web3 communities.

Raushan explains the decentralization aspect of web three extends to community management as well. While centralized platforms like Facebook and Google dominate the current landscape, there is a need for decentralized systems that integrate various touchpoints and communication channels used by communities.

Trickle aims to automate and provide AI-powered tools for managing these systems, offering actionable insights and personalized experiences to community leaders. The goal is to help blockchain companies like Zeeve better understand their members and cater to their preferences.

Dr.Ravi and Mahesh then shift the discussion to AI’s role in content creation. They ask Raushan about the benefits and challenges of using AI for content creation.

Raushan acknowledges the benefits of AI in content creation, mentioning cost savings for advertisement companies and the emergence of virtual influencers. However, he also points out the potential for misuse, citing incidents of manipulated images and videos.

He emphasizes the importance of using AI responsibly and mentions the inherent bias in AI systems that limits their ability to replicate human writing styles. While AI can provide summaries and aid in content generation, Raushan believes that human writers still hold an advantage in terms of emotional connection and diverse learning experiences.

Dr.Ravi and Mahesh explore using AI in chatbots and virtual assistants for Web3 community building. Dr.Ravi asks Raushan about the role of AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants in automating tasks, personalizing experiences, and identifying trends.

Raushan expresses his enthusiasm for AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants, stating that they allow humans to focus on more creative tasks. These AI systems can integrate with various platforms and provide real-time updates on community activities, trends, and news.

Raushan parallels AI’s use in match prediction in the IPL, highlighting the potential for AI to analyze data and make predictions in web three communities. While he acknowledges the challenge of data privacy for companies holding user data, Raushan believes that the transparency of the Web3 ecosystem could be a blessing for implementing AI.

Lastly, Dr. Ravi and Mahesh address the issue of spam and misinformation in Web3 communities, particularly on platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp. They ask Raushan how AI algorithms could help identify and mitigate spam and misleading behavior within these communities.

Raushan acknowledges the challenge of managing spam and misinformation, especially in decentralized and anonymous platforms. He highlights the potential of AI algorithms for real-time monitoring and instant moderation of messages to remove spam and misinformation early on.

Raushan also mentions the importance of analyzing messages’ profiles and subtle nuances to identify spammers. Overall, he believes that AI could aid community managers in effectively addressing the issue of spam and misinformation in Web3 communities.
