A virtual workshop was organized by NASSCOM on 29th June 2022 on the theme – “Blockchain in Business – Use Cases and Applications” where Dr Ravi Chamria was invited as a keynote speaker to enlighten and educate people about the Blockchain technology and its associated applications in the business context. Dr Chamria shared his valuable knowledge and insights on relevant concepts of the blockchain to help senior management staff, thought leaders, technology officers and also other attendees to implement Blockchain in their domains with a view to widen their business.
Participants in the session included industry veterans, start-up owners, product developers, strategists, business thinkers, problem solvers, decision makers, students and academicians.
Dr Chamria started the workshop with a detailed explanation of what the blockchain technology is, how it works, what are its key constructs, how the web has evolved from 2.0 to 3.0 and the trends most likely to gain traction in the years to come.
During the workshop, Dr Chamria not only highlighted the key use cases of blockchain in principal economic driving forces such as supply chain, insurance, banking and finance,
government and also healthcare and p2p power trading. He also delved deeper into smart Contracts, and token economies and how they provide a new range of tools for business and economic collaboration.
